LUSH Santa's Lip Scrub Review
Having dry lips is the worst all year round but especially in the winter. I hate having chapped lips when I want to wear lipstick because you can really tell how dry they are and it looks disgusting. I've tried the Mint Julep lip scrub from Lush before but that was years ago. I decided I wanted to buy another lip scrub from Lush because I love their products plus I wasn't going to spend a lot of money for a lip scrub.

1. Jaclyn Hill's Favourites by Morphe Brushes
If you don't know who Jaclyn Hill is, you are missing out! She is an amazing beauty guru/makeup artist on Youtube. You can also find her on other social medias. Her tutorials are amazing and very useful plus she has such a bubbly personality. She teamed up with Morphe Brushes to put out a palette featuring all her favourite single eyeshadows from them (which are usually always sold out). I'm definitely going to get this because the pre-sale starts midnight PST/3 am EST on January 1st. It'll be a limited edition palette so get it while you can. It's going to be $27.99 and thats a great price for 28 eyeshadows, and also if you want single eyeshadows, those are only $2 each!!

Happy New Year + Blog Goals For 2015
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone and wish you all the best for 2015. Also, I hope you all had a great holiday no matter what you celebrate! I haven't posted much a while on my blog but I've been so caught up with everything else that writing a blog post wasn't on my mind. I have a lot of ideas for posts and I can't wait till you see it all! ⁽⁽٩(๑˃̶͈̀ ᗨ ˂̶͈́)۶⁾⁾
That's all I can think of now and i'll take it one step at a time so I won't get overwhelmed. I think its neat to write down all your goals you have so by the end of the year you can see how many you've accomplished! If I do think of more, i'll be sure to add them to my list and keep you guys updated. If any of you want to do this to, go ahead and share your post or goals down below!
My Blog Goals for 2015:
- Post more frequently (Even if it's 1-2 posts a week)
- Set on a specific style for my blog
- Take creative and quality photos
- Interact with more bloggers
- Possibly make a Youtube channel (I know this isn't a blog goal but I might as well throw it in here)
- Work on more lifestyle posts (because my blog says lifestyle too LOL!)

What's In My Bag: Michael Kors Selma Satchel
Seeing all these "What's In My Bag" videos on YouTube made me really inspired me to write a post on what's in my bag. I'm currently using the Michael Kors Selma Satchel bag in black with gold detailing. It has a detachable shoulder strap but I decided to keep mine on because I use it every time. It also has a zipper on the top so all your things won't go flying out. Theres a interior zip pocket and 4 pouches on the inside. This bag is the perfect size for me because it isn't too big to the point where it'll get in my way or too small where I can't fit all my things inside. It also has four gold detailings at the bottom of the bag to help your bag not get scratched if you put it on the ground and helps it stand nicely.

The Face Shop Masks: Hydro Vita B, Blueberry and Kelp
I recently went out to The Face Shop to buy a couple of mask so I could treat my skin and picked out three different ones. All the masks were only $2, which is pretty cheap!
Hydro Vita B Mask Sheet:
This is a gel mask that helps hydrates the skin. The lady who worked there also said that this mask helps your dark circles. It contains star fruit extract which helps the skin look more lively.

October Wishlist
I've decided for every month, I'll be doing a wishlist post where I will mention some of the things I've been wanting, whether it be older items or items that recently came out. I find this something fun to do because you guys can all see what I've been wanting and maybe you'll end up also wanting a certain item that I mention! I will link all the items as I talk about it and their prices to make it easier for everyone.
Although I currently have a iPhone 5, I will be upgrading to a iPhone 6 Plus soon, and no they currently do not make iPhone 6 Plus cases which is a bummer so I decided to put the iPhone 6 Case here instead. I really love Wildflower cases because they have such fun and unique designs on them. I really love the print and colour scheme on this one and if/when they do start selling iPhone 6 Plus cases, I will definitely get this case for my phone. They sell cases for iPhones and the Samsung Galaxy so go check them out!

5 Items You Must Have In Your Makeup Bag
A lot of us might be in the stage where we're still getting into makeup and slowly in the process of building up your collection or maybe you already have a lot of makeup and just want to buy more products to try (I hoard a lot of makeup). Whichever it is, i'm going to be telling you 5 items that I think you should have in your makeup bag. I'll be giving a drugstore and high-end option to each item so don't you worry! Just a heads up, I live in Canada so all the prices I list are in Canadian Dollars.
1. Liquid Eyeliner
Some of us may prefer gel, pencil, or cake liner over liquid eyeliner but I said liquid eyeliner, especially the ones in pen form, because I find it quick and easy to use. I personally always do winged liner on a daily basis so getting that perfect flick is really important to me. I also find that I can do my winged eyeliner very quickly when I use liquid liner as opposed to using gel. A drugstore liquid liner I recommend would be the L'oréal Liquid Artist Eyeliner - $10.36 (Walmart CDN). A high-end liquid liner I recommend is the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner - $26 (Sephora CDN).

Garnier Clean Impurities Eliminating Scrub Review
I've been looking for a good exfoliating because my skin in oily combination skin so I get dry patches here and there. A lot of people are raving about charcoal products so I decided to get myself an exfoliant with charcoal in it. I decided to get the Garnier Clean Impurities Eliminating Scrub after seeing a couple reviews on it. No matter what skin type you have, you always want to make sure you're exfoliating your skin at least twice a week to get rid of the dead skin cells. Some exfoliators can be more abrasive than others so get a sample of the product first to test it on your skin before you buy it.
The Garnier Clean Impurities Eliminating Scrub is a gel exfoliator with micro beads (charcoal bits) that deeply cleanses, tighten pores and also makes your skin smooth. This product is more directed towards those with oily skin (it also says oily skin on the bottle) because of the charcoal and salicylic acid in it. It draws out the oils and dirts in your skin which can also dry out your skin so you wouldn't want to use it if you already have dry skin.

What is "Hey, Lets Makeup" ?
Hey Let's Makeup is a beauty and lifestyle blog started by me, Nicole! I started this blog because everything about beauty intrigues me. Everyday I learn something new about makeup and instead of keeping that knowledge to myself, I thought starting a blog would be neat so I can show others tips and tricks. I do go to cosmetology school so everything I talk about will not be just from watching YouTube videos or reading other blogs. I'm new to blogging and still getting used to the gist of everything.
Here are things you can expect from Hey, Lets Makeup:
